Overnight Oats with Caramelized Apples & Pears

Overnight Oats with Caramelized Apples & Pears

Contributed by Katia from @larecetteparfaite

Apples are considered the ideal fall fruit, but did you know pears are also in season? In fact, there are approximately 130 pear varieties cultivated in Canada every year! With this caramelized apple & pear recipe, you’ll enjoy the best that fall can offer – especially if you use apples & pears you picked yourself!

Pro tip: To achieve a better tasting dish, make sure to use very ripe pears! Knowing when your pears are ready is easy, you just have to lightly squeeze them at the base of the stem; if it’s easily mushed, they’re good to go!
